I.V. Cannula for Single Use

Instruction for Use

Intended use:

I. V. Cannula for Single Use is intended to be inserted into a peripheral vein (typically on the hand/arm) to enable short-term intravenous access for administration of fluids/medication and blood sampling. Also referred to as a peripheral IV catheter, it is typically assembled with a dedicated introduction needle, and usually includes connectors, injection ports and wings for fixation. It shall be used together with other devices such as infusion set, for human body vein injection, infusion, or transfusion. Single use only.

Contraindications

Do not use for high-risk groups (such as: pregnant and lactating women, Klein kinder and prepubertal male), pregnant women and children if contain DEHR In PVC material.

Warning

The users shall be trained medical practitioners.

Use immediately after unpacking,

Don't use it if package is damaged.

For single use only, reuse or re-sterilize is not allowed.

This is STERILE product.

The period of validity is five years from the date of manufacture, must use it in this period. Don't Store at extreme temperatures.

Instruction

1)Take our the I.V.Cannula from package.

2)Hold the I.V.Cannula and take off the front protective sleeve.

3)Insert it into the blood vein at an angle of 15-30 degree, do not move up the needle.

4)Lower the angle to 5-10 degrees until bleeding comes, continue to push in the needle 0.2cm,

5)Hold the I.V.Cannula, withdraw the needle slowly until the needle tip is completely out.

6)Connect the I.V.Cannula with any infusion or transfusion set. Discard the needle after use.
